North Devon Auctions was set up by Gary Copp and his daughter Stacie Copp In February 2022. It's a family run business based between Holsworthy and Great Torrington, North Devon. We auction various types of household items, furniture and trinkets.
Currently we are running general household and bric-a-brac auctions once every six weeks. Our auctions are run through 'Easy live Auction' and will be timed online auctions only.
Costings:
When purchasing through North Devon Auctions you will be subject to an 15% buyers commission plus the Easy Live auction surcharge of 3%. All items will be subject to our minimum fee of £1.00 per lot. All payments need to be made on within 24 hours of the auction end. Unless you are paying cash on collection.
Viewings:
All items can be viewed in person by appointment on weekdays once the catalogue is available.
Collections:
All items must be collected (or an appointment made for collection) within one week after the auction ends. Collections should be made by appointment only so the items can be pulled out prior to your arrival making your collection stress-free. If you are unable to collect your items after 2 weeks we are happy to arrange storage at an additional fee.
Shipping & Postage:
We offer an in-house packaging service, the cost for this varies but it subject to a minimum £7.00 charge to cover the packaging. If you buy two small lots than can fit into one package only one packaging fee of £7.00 will be changed.
You are welcome to arrange a courier to collect your items (if it needs to be boxed, you will be charged for the in house packing service) just please book the courier to collect within our opening times with prior notice of their arrival.
Small items:
If you require your purchased items posted to you and are small enough to do so, we will be happy to post them for you via Royal Mail. We are unable to send glass, including glazed pictures. Buyers are however, welcome to arrange a courier themselves for these items. All items postage will be subject to a handling and packaging fee of £7.00 per package plus the postage costs.
Large Items:
If you require your items to be delivered outside of the local area which is to large to be posted via Royal Mail, we are happy for you to arrange a courier or a delivery from our sister company Copps Removals.
Visiting us (Viewings and Collections)
We are situated right on the main road (A388) about 1 mile from Stibb Cross. As a sister company to Copps Removals if may be easier to spot the signs for 'Copps Removals' .
